PAINT
Hold until Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

By law, garbage haulers cannot transport liquids so paint must be in solid form for them to accept it.

Latex Paint - take the lid off and let air dry, or fill with cat litter to absorb the paint and then dispose of it in the garbage on your pick up day

Oil Paint - Either paint on a surface (i.e. cardboard) or you may fill with cat litter. If using cat litter, make sure all the paint has been absorbed. After paint is absorbed/dried, dispose of in the garbage on you pick up day
